Glenice Ilene Doyle, 82, of Star City, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Mon Health Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 30, 1936, in Wi-den, the only child to the late Ralph and Lucy McClure Wilson.
Glenice was a graduate of University High School and worked for over 30 years at the former McVicker’s Drug Store, on High Street, in Morgantown. She was a member of Westover United Methodist Church and cherished her church friends.
Glenice is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Steve Patterson, of Lakeland, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Sharon Doyle, of Star City; her only grandchild, DJ Williams, of Lakeland; and her best friend, Mena Ryan, of Star City.
In addition to her parents, Glenice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Doyle.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Sundale Nursing Home and the 4th floor nurses and doctors at Mon Health Medical Center.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Westover United Methodist Church, 28 North St., Westover, WV 26501, or the Monongalia County Canine Adoption Center, 243 High St., Morgantown, WV 26505.
Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, and from 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28, until the 11 a.m. funeral service with Pastor Jo McCartney officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
