Charles David Locke, 75, of Morgantown, departed from this life Thursday, June 23, 2018.
David was born Nov. 11, 1942, in Ritchie County, the son of the late Emery Dale Locke and Nellie Monalee Reaser Locke.
He was a petroleum engineer and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Morgantown. David also proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by a daughter and spouse, Jill and Matthew Alexander, of Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter and spouse, Carey and Adam Ensminger, of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Ernestine Houser, of Bedford, Va.; and four grandchildren, Wesley Alexander, of Nashville, Madeline, Piper and Anna Kate Ensminger, of Tulsa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheryl Ann Locke.
Friends may call at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown, from 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, until the 7 p.m. funeral service with the Rev. Dr. James Stinespring officiating. A graveside service will take place at South Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, in South Fork, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 27.
