Sarah Louise Gwynn Rhodes, 87, of Carmichaels, Pa., died at 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation, in Waynesburg, Pa. She was born March 10, 1931, in Boquet, Pa., the daughter of the late Franklin Rinehart and Ruth Elizabeth (Eckert) Gwynn.

Later, she became a member of the Rebekah’s Lodge in Greene County. Sarah was an avid reader, wrote poetry and enjoyed embroidering and hand sewing. She also helped her husband with farming for many years.
