Ronald Hines

Ronald B. Hines Sr., 65, of Jacksonburg,  passed away at his home after a long battle with heart disease on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, surrounded by his loving wife, daughter, son, son-in-law and several of his loving in-laws.
Ronald was a disabled Vietnam veteran of the US Army and a retired chef.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Dolly (Kirk) Hines;  step-dad, Perry McCarty; his loving daughter, Crystal Gayle (Hines) Weaver and brothers Jimmy and Michael Hines.
Surviving is  his loving wife of 42 years, Sandra Kay (Morgan) Hines; son, Ronald Hines Jr.; daughter, Sandra Kristina (Kenneth) Hetrick; three sisters, Becky Mercer, Kathy (Mark) Switzer and Marlene McCarty; brother, Johnny (Lynn) Hines; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Palmer Funeral Home, in Pine Grove, from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, June 17 and at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 18, for the funeral service with Father Andrew Switzer officiating.  Interment at the Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Hastings.
