Thomas E. Kelley, 89, of Morgantown, passed away June 9, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Jan. 12, 1929, to the late Edward and Lenora Kelley.
Thomas was employed as a mechanic for 17 years and retired as an electrician after 29 years. He worked for WVU and Ted’s Auto Electric.
He was enlisted into the United States Marine Corp and served from 1946 until his honorable discharge as corporal in 1948.
Thomas is survived by his four children, sons, Bill and Imogene Kelley and Thomas P. Kelley, and daughters, Janet Kelley and Sherry Erwin; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Betty Kelley; his first wife of 29 years, Evelyn Ruth Kelley; and brother, Edward Kelley Jr.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his WV Caring hospice nurses, Carrie Buzzo, Erica Toliver and Christine Eddy; social workers, Trudy Kelley-Chandler and Amanda Gyorko Pocratsky and Chaplain Kathleen Kennedy.

Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, and from 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, until the 11 a.m. funeral service. Burial with full military honors will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
