Mon County Commission approves $50,000 in emergency funding for the Shack

MORGANTOWN — The Monongalia County Commission approved $50,000 in emergency funding for the Shack Neighborhood House during a brief regular Wednesday meeting.
The commission also acknowledged a letter of thanks from the Clarksburg Police Department after local officials from the Monongalia County Office of Emergency Management used the agency’s drone to assist Clarksburg officers in finding the body of a missing person.
Lastly, the commission rescheduled its June 20 and July 4 meetings to June 21 and July 5 due to upcoming state and federal holidays.
