KINGWOOD — Preston deputies charged a Masontown man with being DUI while on his way to a mandatory drug test.
Bobby Kohn Gilreath, 32, was freed on $500 personal recognizance bond after being arrested this week. According to the criminal complaint by Deputy 1st Class W.T. McNair:
On Oct. 19, 2017, he responded to a single-vehicle crash on W.Va. 7. Gilreath was the driver. Gilreath said he was going to the hospital for a mandatory drug test after falling asleep at work.
Gilreath’s speech was slurred and hard to understand, and he fell several times while walking. He was taken to Ruby Memorial by EMS. Medical records obtained through a search warrant showed he was under the influence of Buprenorphine, Benzodiazepines and cocaine the night of the crash.
