Harold Kenneth Snider

Harold Kenneth Snider, 86, of Masontown, departed for Heaven on Saturday, May 26, 2018, with family by his side.
Harold was born in Parkersburg, the son of the late Johnny snd Mary Sharp Snider.

After attending University High School, he worked in a bakery to help support his family.
Harold was a well known mason and contractor in the Morgantown and surrounding area. He and his wife owned and operated Snider Ceramic Tile, in Masontown. He was also employed by Bull Run Mining for many years.
He volunteered many years for the 4-H and FFA organizations of Preston County.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rose Marie Gregg Snider; and three daughters, Cari Snider Bradley and husband, Wade, of Greencastle, Pa., Sheri Snider-Ennis and husband, Anthony Mroz, of Bruceton Mills and Mistie Snider and companion, Michael Myers, of Masontown. He is also survived by a special son, Andrew Simpson; six grandchildren, Courie Snider-Ennis and companion, Tyler Friend, Marissa Bradley, JonWyatt “JW” Ennis, Elizabeth Ennis, Jack Bradley and Lauren Bradley; seven siblings, Johnny Snider Jr. and wife, Libby, Patricia Manning, Frank Snider and wife, Teresa, Jerry Snider and wife, Mary, Mary Feathers and husband, Donald, Carolyn Sue Walker and Frederick Snider and wife, Carol; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kirk Lee Snider; one granddaughter, Aurora Dawn Myers; five siblings, Thelma Snider and husband, Norman Shaffer, Grace Snider Watts and husband, Fred, David Snider, Margaret Snider Owens and Douglas Snider, brother-in-law, Jimmy Manning and Jesse Walker; and in-laws, Joe and Catherine Gregg.
Friends and family may call at Morgan Funeral Home, 13411 Veterans Memorial Highway, Reedsville, from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, with a Scripture Wake service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, until the 1 p.m. Catholic funeral service with Father Andy Switzer as celebrant. Interment will follow at Masontown Cemetery.
