Jerry Wayne McCutcheon, age 72, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018. He was born August 27, 1945, in Charleston, a son of the late Edward McCutcheon and Myrtle Rose Harkins McCutcheon.
Jerry was a retired United States Air Force Veteran with 21 years of service. He was a forty-four year Master Mason of the Harbor City Lodge Number 318 of Melbourne, Fla. and a Noble of the Mystic Shrine of the Aloha Temple in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was also a member of the IUOE Local 132 Charleston.
Jerry is survived by his children, daughter Misty L. Rice, of Morgantown, son, Edward McCutcheon and spouse Melody, of Charlotte, N.C., and daughter Theresa R. McCutcheon and spouse John Mollohan, of Wilmington, N.C.; grandchildren, Tyler Edward Rice, Hannah Lan Rice, Megan Grace McCutcheon, and Brennon Edward McCutcheon; two sisters, Sandra Jean and her husband Joey Creech, and Melissa Kay McCutcheon; brother, Randy Edward McCutcheon and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Lan “Tina” McCutcheon.
McCulla Funeral Home provided cremation services. Graveside services will be held at the Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans.
