Delsie G. White, 85, of Rowlesburg, went to her Heavenly Home on Monday, May 21, 2018, with her loving family by her side.
She was born May 3, 1933, in Rowlesburg, the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Goldie F. Bolyard Friend.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary # 3008 in Rowlesburg and the Moose Lodge, Chapter 510 in Terra Alta. Delsie was a graduate of Rowlesburg High School and a Southern Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her five sons, Michael Davis and wife Sonya, of Fairmont, Larry Davis and wife Susan, of Rowlesburg, Dale M. Davis and wife Becky, of Kingwood, John Orendorf and wife Kimberly, of Accident Md., and Kenny Muse and companion Liz, of Kearneville; her daughter, Brenda F. Davis, of Rowlesburg; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her brother, David E. Friend and wife June, of Rowlesburg and several nieces and nephews.
Delsie was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill White in 2000; two brothers, Albert and Clyde Friend and a sister, Mearl Friend.
Family will receive friends at Burke Funeral Home, in Rowlesburg, from 3-8 p.m., on Wednesday, May 23, and from 10 a.m.- noon, on Thursday, May 24, followed by the funeral hour with Pastor Justin Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Etam Cemetery.
