MORGANTOWN — Kroger is investing $4 million in remodeling its Suncrest Towne Centre store.
One of Kroger’s largest stores with 86,000 square feet, the store will have a completely new look with new features, including a Starbucks, a wine-tasting bar and made-to-order selections.
Natural foods, the Deli-Bakery, and the flower shop will be expanded. Sushi will continue to be offered in the store.
“The overall look and feel will be like a brand-new store,” said Terry Lucas, manager. “Most every area of the store will be updated.” The store opened in 2009.
“We’ll endeavor to keep any inconvenience to customers at a minimum,” he added. The project is expected to be complete before the end of the year.
Suncrest Towne Centre Kroger employs about 275 associates and is open 24 hours every day.
