MORGANTOWN — WVU wrapped up commencement weekend Sunday May 13 with three graduation ceremonies.
Graduates received their diplomas from the School of Medicine Professionals, as well as the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences graduate and undergraduate programs.
Commencement exercises started Thursday and included ceremonies for 13 colleges and schools.
More than 4,450 students finished their college careers, including 3,009 undergrads, 1,110 earning master’s degrees and 360 earning doctorates.
WVU President Gordon Gee conferred several honorary degrees and spoke at a number of the ceremonies.
More than 2,000 summer classes are set to begin Monday May 14.
There are more than 700 online courses, as well as three-, six-, nine- and 12-week classes.
