Two-vehicle accident sends both drivers to the hospital

MORGANTOWN — A two-vehicle accident occurred early Friday May 11 morning at the intersection of Grafton Road and Smithtown Road in Morgantown.
According to a Morgantown Police Department release, one of the drivers was trapped in their vehicle and had to be extricated by the Morgantown Fire Department and Monongalia County EMS.
Both drivers were transported by Mon County EMS to receive treatment for their injuries.
The Morgantown Police Department says the accident is still under investigation and if anyone has any information concerning the accident, they should contact Morgantown Police at 304-284-7522.
