Alzheimer’s Association workshop Tuesday
The Alzheimer’s Association, West Virginia Chapter will offer a Know the 10 Signs: What’s Normal, What’s Not, a free community workshop at 11 a.m. today at The Village at Heritage Point, 1 Heritage Point.
Morgantown North Rotary Club will have a guest speaker Wednesday
Susan Riddle, executive director of the Greater Morgantown Convention and Visitors Bureau, will be the Morgantown North Rotary Club’s guest speaker at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Erickson Alumni Center.
Her presentation, “Selling Greater Morgantown and Driving the Tourism Economy,” will detail how her organization promotes area events, attractions, recreation and facilities to attract guests.
A light breakfast will be served, and there will be free parking.

Modern Homestead will host business after hours Thursday
KINGWOOD — The Preston County Chamber of Commerce announces that its next business after hours will be hosted by Modern Homestead, from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Tathams, 41 S. Robert Stone Way, in Reedsville.
Modern Homestead is a collection of restored homes that include a coffee and gift shop, guest houses and seasonal greenhouses. There will be food and drinks, networking and door prizes.

Golf Scramble will be held Friday
KINGWOOD — The Preston County Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Scramble will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Preston Country Club.
Team registration is $300 and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch and dinner, refreshments on the course and awards presentation. Several sponsorship opportunities are available.
Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams. There will also be prizes for longest drive, closest pin, longest putt, senior men’s longest drive and women’s longest drive. A putting contest will be included in the day’s events.
