Linda R. Cramer, 65, of Terra Alta (Cranesville Community), died Sunday May 6, 2018, at home.
She was born Feb. 14, 1953, in Terra Alta, a daughter of the late Carl Sharps Sr. and Harriet Wilhelm Sharps.
Linda was a manager at the Oakland Walmart and previously worked at Bausch and Lomb, in Oakland. She was well known for her love of helping people. She volunteered at the Moose Lodge during the fish fries and spaghetti dinners and for Preston County schools.
Linda loved to grow flowers, joke, laugh and hold “court” during family gatherings. She is now joyfully united with the love of her life, square dance partner and her high school sweetheart, Lynn.
Linda is survived by a daughter, Kimberly L. Watson (Jason); a son, John “JC” Cramer (Samantha Hostutler); five grandchildren, Isabella Watson, Rozlyn, Clayton, Lillian and Adriana Cramer; three sisters, Cleo Duckworth, Carolyn Deem (Sterling Queen) and Beverly Hicks; brother, Carl Sharps Jr. (Toni); and many beloved brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, R. Lynn Cramer; six brothers, Harold, Donald, Jack, Michael, Terry and Ricky Sharps; and two sisters, Susan and Jean Sharps
Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, in Terra Alta, from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. The funeral service will be held at the funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 10. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, in Terra Alta.
