MORGANTOWN — Accuweather Senior Meteorologist Dave Dombek said he thinks winter may have finally shuffled on home.
In fact, he went so far as to use the “S” word — summer-like — when describing the remainder of the week.
While temperatures are expected to climb well into the 70s today, Dombek said we’re just getting warmed up.
Wednesday and Thursday are both expected to crack the 80-degree mark.
Dombek said Wednesday should be bright and sunny, but some clouds could begin to roll into the area during the day Thursday.
Temperatures will still be in the 70s on Friday, but there is an increased chance of showers and thunderstorms, he said.
According to Dombek, temperatures will come back down some over the weekend, with Saturday expected to be in the low 70s and Sunday in the mid-60s.
Both days are expected to be at least partly sunny.
