Marshall Leonard Stutler, 86, passed away April 30, 2018, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born Oct. 7, 1931, to the late Franklin Lee and Leta (Starcher) Stutler.
He retired from Bell Atlantic after 34 years of service. Marshall was best known for his famous fried fish. He had a passion for hunting and trout fishing with his sons at their camp in Elk River and his daughter at Blackwater. You could find him watching his Steelers, enjoying an Iron City Beer. He traveled the west for four months with buddies, Roger and Pat Mockrof enjoying nature.
He is survived by two sons, Dwayne and spouse, Rene Stutler and Darrell and spouse,Tammy Stutler; one daughter, Terri Lynn Lemley; grandchildren, Adrienne and Tiffany Stutler and Denise Bohn; one great-grandchild, Quentin Stutler; and one sister, June Pierce.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret “Peg” of 52 years; two brothers and two sisters.
Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, and from 10 a.m. Friday, May 4, until the 11 a.m. funeral service with Father Gary Naegele officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
