MORGANTOWN — Need a break from the countless hours you’ve been studying for your final exams?
Has your dog been sad from the lack of attention they may be receiving?
Say no more.
For puppy and yoga lovers, WVU Student Health hosted Puppy Pilates at the rec fields on the Evansdale campus. The class gives students and their dogs a chance to exercise and get out of the house during one of the more stressful times of the year.
“We saw this as a great opportunity for people who love dogs and to exercise to come out and learn more about the services we offer at student health,” said Chelsea Betts, Communications Specialist at WVU Student Health.
The positive feedback they received on social media also contributed to making all of this possible.
“We asked who would be interested in coming out to a puppy Pilates class, and almost everyone who commented said yes.”
Even though the student population declines during the summer, student health continues to engage not only with students but the general public as well.
“If you’re not feeling well, have a sprain or a strain, definitely come in to see us because we will be able to take care of you quickly.”
WVU Student Health is located at the WVU Health and Education Building on the Evansdale campus.
