Bernard Lee “Bud” Duelley, age 75, of Morgantown, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving wife and friends.
Bernard was born June 14, 1942, in Morgantown a son of the late Gerald and Georgia Crim Duelley.
Bernard had worked for NASA in Md. and was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist in Fairmont. Bernard enjoyed being outdoors but most of all he enjoyed spending time at his camp in Wetzel County deer hunting. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
Bernard is survived by his wife Mary Woody Duelley, one daughter; Terri Vines of Summersville, S.C., one step-daughter; Ashlee Muniz and husband Brian of Bowling Green, Ky., grandchildren; Chad Baldwin, wife Robin and their children Ethan and Abbey, Amber Baldwin and her children, Morgan and Blake, and Melissa Brooks, husband Joe and their children Chance and Chase, step grandchildren; Aubree and Austin Muniz, brother; Robert Eugene Duelly and wife Midge of Chestertown, Md., and two sisters-in-law; Ruth Duelley of Falling Waters and Loretta Duelley of Fairmont.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Kenneth Harold Duelley and Charles William Duelley.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Michael Craig and his staff at the WV Cancer Center and WV Caring Hospice for the love, care and support shown to Bernard and his family.
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, from 1-6 p.m., on Sunday, April 29, and from noon- 1p.m., on Monday, April, 30, with the funeral service to follow with the Rev. Gary Steele and the Rev. Claude Kinty officiating. Entombment will follow at Beverly Hills Mausoleum.
