Lawrence Dudley

Lawrence Dudley Jr., 80, of Bruceton Mills, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at home, surrounded by his loving wife and family.
The son of the late Lawrence Sr. and Angelina Zara Dudley, he was born Oct. 6, 1937, in Morgantown.
Lawrence was a retired coal miner.
He is survived by his wife, of 56 years, Shirley Leona Bankhead Dudley; two sons and spouses, Travis and Tammy Dudley and Mark and Eleanor Dudley, of Markleysburg, Pa.; two daughters and spouses, Teresa and Philip Bishop, of Valley Point, and Jackie and Kem Scott, of Bruceton Mills; three sisters, Carol Sebastian, Cheryll Tenney and Linda Cress, of Morgantown; a brother, Larry Dudley Jr., of Morgantown; six grandchildren, LaDawna Dudley, Steven Blosser, Nicole Blosser, Kevin McCluskey and his fiance’ Salenna Sharp, SeAnna Scott and Brandon Bishop; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David “Eddie” Dudley; and a brother, Charles Earl Dudley.
Family and friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, in Brandonville-Bruceton Mills, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday,  and from 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, until the 11 a.m. service with Pastor Travis Turner officiating.  Burial will follow at  Dudley Family Cemetery, in Bruceton Mills.
