Dorothy Jean ‘Dottie’ Gregg Dezzutti, 77, of Westover, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the Madison Center. Dorothy was born May 18, 1940, in Star City, daughter to Samuel Gregg and Dorothy Helen Good Gregg.
Dottie was a homemaker, where she tirelessly cared for her husband, and four children. She was Catholic by faith and was a long-time member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Star City. Dorothy adored her grandchildren and cherished time spent together.
She leaves to treasure her memory, one daughter, Denise Renee Williams and husband Tim of Christiansburg, Va.; three sons, Keith Edward Dezzutti and wife Dianna, Paul Michael Dezzutti and wife Debbie and Chris Gregg Dezzutti and wife Carolyn all of Morgantown; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Arlene Neely and Connie Nagy, both of Westover and one brother, Richard Henry Gregg, of Star City.
She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Dorothy Gregg; husband of 54 years, Paul Dezzutti; sisters, Catherine Christopher, Hazel Elizabeth Fox, Sadie Mae Noone, Patricia Goodknight, Clara C. Huggins, Rose Virginia Nichlan and three brothers George Edward, Samuel Harry and John Louis Gregg.
Cremation has been arranged by the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home.
Friends and family are invited to the St. Mary Catholic Church, from 10-11 a.m., on Monday, April 30, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow with the Rev. Father John V. Dibacco, Jr., as celebrant. Entombment of her cremains will follow at the Peace Garden Mausoleum.
