MORGANTOWN — Road conditions and water drainage were topics of discussion at this week’s Granville Town Council meeting.
“I live on Bowser Street and I would like to know what the situation is because I am afraid every time I come across that road that it is going to put me down over the hill,” said Granville resident Linda Tomago duirng the public comment portion of Tuesday’s meeting.
Road concerns and water drainage issues have been discussed by council many times in the past few months.
“I think they should look at the drain system up there on the new part of the [University] Town Centre,” said council member Nicky Boyers.
Council agreed that if an emergency situation were to happen concerning road failure or water drainage, an emergency council meeting would be held to address and fix the problem.
