Volunteer tour guide opportunities are available at Arthurdale Heritage in Preston County. Weekend hours from May through October are scheduled, and training is provided.

Mother’s Day walk for charity set for Saturday
The 33rd Annual Mother’s Day Walk-for-Life, sponsored by the Mon County Chapter of West Virginians for Life, will be Saturday in Morgantown. Registration is 9:30-10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Star City.
The 3.4 mile walk will begin at 10 a.m., rain or shine. Free food and prizes awarded at the rally following the walk at the outdoor pavilion. If unable to walk, come to the rally beginning at 11:45 a.m.

Foundation to host two trail races Saturday
The Coopers Rock Foundation will host two of four annual trail-running races, Saturday. Race time for the half-marathon and 50K is at 7 a.m. There will also be a Finish Line Fair from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
