MORGANTOWN — A vehicle hit a pedestrian near the intersection of High and Pleasant streets at about 2 p.m.
Morgantown Police, Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department, Morgantown Fire Department and Mon Health EMS responded to the scene. The intersection was partly-closed to traffic for about 30 minutes.
Scanner traffic indicated the pregnant passenger of the vehicle involved was having panic attacks and a second ambulance was dispatched to the scene. A black Hyundai Sonata was at the scene with a pregnant woman inside.
One man was transported to an area hospital. Morgantown Police Chief Ed Preston said the pedestrian’s injuries were minor.
