Man to spend at least one year in prison for burglary

MORGANTOWN — For the crime of burglary, a man will spend at least a year in prison.

Robert Conley II, 25, was sentenced to one to 15 years in a state penitentiary by Monongalia County Circuit Court Judge Russell Clawges.

Conley previously pleaded guilty to one count of burglary. He was originally scheduled to be sentenced on April 17, however he was not transported from the Department of Corrections facility where he was being held in time for his court appearance. His sentencing was rescheduled for April 19.

The state was represented by Stephen Fitz, of the Monongalia County Prosecutor’s Office and Conley was defended by Thomas Kroger.
