Cynthia L. (Davis) Deal, 62, of Kingwood entered into eternal rest on April 22, 2018, at her home after a long illness.
She was born June 2, 1955, in Morgantown, a daughter of Vada (Smith) and the late Paul Davis.
She graduated from WVU with a BS in nursing. She started work at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital then at Mon Health Medical Center, but worked longest at the birthing center of Preston Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Don Deal; a son, John Deal and wife, Sara; and granddaughter, Charlotte, all of Westville, Ind.; her bro-ther, Ed Davis and wife, Jane, of Masontown; and her sister, Sharon Weakley, of Rochelle, Va.
She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Jimmy Weakley.
Friends may call at the Morgan Funeral Home, in Reedsville, from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. Thursday, April 26, until the 10 a.m. funeral service with the Rev. Steve Lightner officiating.
Graveside services will follow at Arthurdale Cemetery.
