MORGANTOWN — The WVU Choirs will take the stage at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre. The program will feature performances by four WVU Choirs, including Chamber Singers, Men’s Choir, Women’s Choir and the West Virginia Community Choir. The concert will also include a performance by the University High School Chamber Choir directed by Mr. Barry Kolar.
Audience members will experience a variety of music, including several multi-cultural works from countries including China, India, Australia, and Scotland.
The program will also include several homegrown works including an American spiritual and a traditional Appalachian song.
“There will be something to appeal to everyone, from more traditional works to modern works incorporating a variety of vocal techniques,” said Kym Scott, WVU’s director of choral activities.
