MORGANTOWN — A single-vehicle accident, which Morgantown Police responded to at about 11 p.m. April 17 on North Willey Street, near the intersection with Hampton Avenue, has caused traffic delays in the area.
According to a press release, the vehicle struck a telephone pole, causing the wires to be knocked to the ground. Because of this, North Willey Street was reduced to one lane. Officers were directing traffic April 18 and extended delays are anticipated.
No one was injured in the accident.
