MORGANTOWN — Morgantown High’s girls’ tennis team continued its regular season roll April 17 by defeating Wheeling Park, 7-0, at Summit Tennis Academy.
The Mohigans (16-1) dropped just five games along the way.
Meanwhile, the boys’ team (11-7) seems to be rounding into shape, and defeated Wheeling Park, 7-0.
Both teams play host to Brooke on Thursday, at Marilla Park. The Ohio Valley Athletic Conference tournament starts Monday, at West Liberty

BASEBALL
Trinity 12, Valley Wetzel 8: Tristen Nine homered and drove in four runs, and Seth McCroskey homered and knocked in three runs Saturday in the Warriors’ win.
Turner Lawrence had a pair of hits and also plated four runs for Trinity.
McCroskey also pitched 2 2/3 innings, allowing five runs, and Tucker Livengood went 4 2/3 innings, allowing three runs, for the Warriors. Livengood also drove in a run.
Sam Emery and Nick Beimel had two hits apiece for Trinity.
