Shirley Ann Lancaster, 78, of Core, passed away April 16, 2018, at Mon Health Medical Center.
She was born in Waynesburg, Pa., on April 25, 1939, to the late James Cecil Roupe and Sylvia Alemida Ellza Roupe.
Shirley was a dietary manager at Morgan Manor and also worked at Sundale and Mon Health Medical Center.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Starlette Wilson, of Dilliner, Pa., Veronica Loughry, of Booth, and JoAnna Shafer and her husband, Bryan, of Maidsville; son, Douglas Lancaster II, of Core; 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; brother, Rob-ert James Roupe; and sisters, Jean Ellen Porter and Carol Ethel Harris.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Lancaster; brother, Terry Lee Roupe; a sister, Mary Roupe; two sons-in-law, Dennis Wilson and Larry Loughry; and a grandson.
Friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home from 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, until the noon funeral service with Pastor Bill Page officiating. Private burial will take place at West Virginia National Cemetery, in Grafton.
