KINGWOOD — Three people were charged with drug offenses after a traffic stop Friday.
Raymond Wade Rogers, 42, of Reedsville, was charged with possession with intent to deliver meth and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
Lance Michael Sisler, 29, of Reedsville, was charged with possession with intent to deliver meth and possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
Bond was set at $100,000 for Sisler and $150,000 for Rogers.
A third man, Matthew T. Bright, 25, of Reedsville, was ticketed for possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
According to criminal complaints by Preston Deputy R.A. Stockett Jr.: On Friday, Stockett stopped a sedan on Kingwood Pike because a headlight was out. Bright was driving and said he had about 1 gram of marijuana in the car.
A search of the vehicle turned up a backpack with about 27 grams of suspected marijuana and 24 grams of meth. Deputies executed a search warrant on Sisler’s home on McKinney Cave Road and found Rogers in the garage.
They also found about 60 grams of suspected meth, two handguns, plastic bags and digital scales. Rogers is a convicted felon and said the items in the garage were his.
