PINE GROVE — Abbey Ammons threw a three-inning perfect game, Caitlyn Kassay hit a grand slam homer and Clay-Battelle beat Valley Wetzel, 11-0, in softball on April 11.
Ammons also went 3-for-3 and scored three times, and Kassay drove in five runs.
Ashley Weber also went 3-for-3, while Madison Statler and Ronda Petrucci had two hits each.
Rylee Burnett scored three times.

Morgantown 7, Parkersburg South 0: The Mohigans (12-1) lost just one game in sweeping the Patriots, at Summit Tennis Academy.

BASEBALL
University 13, Wheeling Park 7: WHEELING — Hunter Cottrell’s two-run double sparked the Hawks (6-6) to an eight-run fourth inning en route to a win against the Patriots.
UHS strung together a walk and six straight hits to overcome a 2-0 Wheeling Park lead.
Cam Stoldt collected four hits and two RBIs, Ross Mulhall went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs, and Austin Forbes drove in three runs for UHS, whose next game is Friday, at John Marshall.
GIRLS’ LACROSSE
Morgantown 4, George Washington 2: Maddie Bal scored two goals, goalie Madison Adkins made eight saves and the defending state champion Mohigans (8-0) defeated the Patriots.
Kylie Bennett and Mia Wilson also scored for MHS, and Tori Nass contributed an assist.
Maddie Hall got both goals for G.W.
The Mohigans play at Spring Mills on Saturday.
University 11, Buckhannon-Upshur 1: Mallory Napolillo netted five goals and added an assist to lead the Hawks.
Mackenzie Slavensky and Jordyn Snider each scored twice, and Olivia Wills and Ava Foreman tallied once each for UHS.
Goalie Riley Phares made four saves for UHS.
Asia Dezarn had the goal for the Bucs.

University 8, Buckhannon-Upshur 2: Alex Lang, Sela Chico and Cassie Osborne each scored twice, and Emily McCabe and Chasity Louk also found the net for the Hawks. Goalie Abigail Cottrell made three saves.
