Leota E. Keller Fultz, 85, of Terra Alta, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at home with family by her side. The daughter of the late William C. and Ethel Knotts Mullenax, she was born Sept. 6, 1932, in Parsons.
She was a member of Life Gate Church in Terra Alta. Leota was one of the best cooks in Preston County. She enjoyed growing flowers and was proud to earn her GED in 1988.
She is survived by her husband, Willard Fultz; three sons, Jeffery and Evelyn Keller, Kurtis Keller and Clifford and Tracy Keller, all of Terra Alta; five daughters, Connie Lantz, Janice and Charlie Mersing, of Terra Alta, Donna and John Markelewicz, of Keyser, Dottie and David Storck, of Terra Alta, and Ellen Hoffman, of Chester; one brother, Roy Mullenax and spouse, Marie, of Horse Shoe Run; one sister, Jean Toothman, of Shinnston; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry E. Keller in 1994; a son, Edward Keller; a granddaughter, Amanda Cline; four brothers, Homer, Ray, Lawrence and John Mullenax; and one sister, Ellen Stewart.
Family and friends will be received at Life Gate Church from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, April 13, followed by the service with Pastor Aaron Knotts officiating. Burial will follow at Terra Alta Cemetery.
