Mon Health Medical Center is offering several multiphasic blood analysis screenings this month and in May and June, in conjunction with the Morgantown North, Cheat Lake and Westover Rotary clubs.
Multiphasic screenings will be 7-10 a.m. April 20, April 21, May 19 and June 9. Screening locations include:
- April 20: City Neon (Chaplin Road across from Mylan Park).
- April 21: Suncrest United Methodist Church (Drummond); Clear Mountain Bank locations in Sabraton, Pierpont Centre and Bruceton Mills; Dynamic Physical Therapy in Westover and Mon Health Primary Care, in Core.
- May 19: Mon Health Medical Center Hazel Ruby McQuain Conference Center, Suncrest United Methodist Church, HealthWorks in Cheat Lake and Dynamic Physical Therapy, in Westover.
- June 9: Clear Mountain Bank locations in Sabraton and Pierpont Centre, Mon Health Primary Care in Core and the Mon Health Medical Center conference center.
The multiphasic is a blood test that measures a variety of blood components, including cholesterol. Participants should fast for 12 hours prior to the test.
The cost of the multiphasic is $35 for those who preregister and $40 for walk-ins. A prostate specific antigen (PSA) blood test, a thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) screening and glucose A1-C tests are available for an additional $15 each. A vitamin D test can be added for $20.
