MORGANTOWN — Easter Sunday falls this weekend.
For Christians, the observance culminates Holy Week, with all of Christ’s sacrifice, suffering and triumph tied therein.
It began last weekend with Palm Sunday, the day that people heralded Jesus’ arrival into Jerusalem with the waving of palms as he passed by.
Palm Sunday begets today’s Maundy Thursday and the Last Supper with the Disciples.
Good Friday is marked as the day Christ suffered and died on the cross for the sins of mankind.
Christians also keep vigil Saturday for the pending resurrection on Easter Sunday: Triumph from tragedy.
