MORGANTOWN — CSC Home & Hardware hosted its 4th Annual Construction Expo on Thursday at Lakeview Resort and Spa.
The expo included free continuing-education classes for architects and engineers. Product-training courses were offered for everyone.
There were over 40 vendors in attendance to showcase their products and teach classes.
“This is a great opportunity for home owners, DIY project enthusiasts to come out and see all the products and goods we have to offer,” said Matt Scott, the organizer of the expo.
Scott said that it’s great because people get to touch and feel the products, so they can answer any specific or general questions the public may have about building materials.
With the expo, Scott hopes to expose the public to everything the store has to offer.
He said it’s more than just dry wall and building materials. It’s a service-oriented company supplying building materials and hardware to the public.
By opening the expo up to the public for free, Scott said, “At CSC Home & Hardware, we really support the community we live in. Through this event, we try to reach out to the public and show them everything we have to offer.”
