KINGWOOD – A Masontown man was sentenced to prison March 5 on two charges of strangulation.
On July 22, 2017, police responded to a call of a domestic dispute. A woman said that twice that night Douglas Tyler Robinson had choked her, “to the point that she could not breathe,” according to the criminal complaint.
He was indicted by the October 2017 grand jury. Under a plea agreement Robinson, 27, pleaded guilty to the strangulation charges and the remaining counts were dismissed.
