CORE — Students at Clay-Battelle High School have the opportunity to learn much more than math, science and other traditional subjects.
Kent Saul, vocational agricultural teacher, offers a range of classes relating to that subject, including science of agriculture and advanced agriculture.
Each year, his students work on a variety of projects that involve welding, gardening, power tools, curing and smoking meat, and raising fish.
One project his students are working on is the construction of an 8-by-10-foot greenhouse.
