MORGANTOWN — The Jan. 27 men’s basketball game between WVU and Kentucky was carried on ESPN.
And when that national network is in town, there are certain things to consider, said Drew Casey, a recent WVU graduate.
Such as, what to do when the ESPN camera turns your way.
Casey, who is still on the board of WVU’s Mountaineer Maniacs student cheering section, laughed and said one can never go wrong with “Hi, Mom,” and “Let’s Go, Mountaineers.”
It went wrong for the team from Morgantown in the game: Kentucky won, 83-76.
