MORGANTOWN — The Warriors ended their five-game losing streak with a gritty home win Jan. 20, against Madonna.
“It was a tough three weeks for us, and we even lost to Madonna during that streak, so it was nice to beat a team that get us during our losing streak,” head coach Mike Baldy said. “We had beaten ourselves a few times, but Reagan Sharp had a good effort and we did a good job defensively. Most of our points on the press because teams were running some funky defenses against us.”
Sharp finished with 20 points, while Emily Saurborn added 14. Kasey Canei led the Blue Dons, with 10 points.
Trinity (7-6) will host Wheeling Central at 7 p.m. Jan. 24.
