WESTOVER — Students at Skyview Elementary School got the opportunity to cross names off their holiday shopping list this week thanks to the fifth annual Holiday Mall.
The school’s Parent Teach Organization (PTO) transformed the school library into a winter wonderland with tables of merchandise, ornament crafting and Christmas movies.
Anne Behr, a PTO member, said that the mall gives kids a chance to shop for friends and family. She said each class was given about 45 minutes to shop at some point during the week.
Evan Morgan, 9, said he was able to buy gifts for his mom, dad, uncle, cats and of course, Grandma “Yaya.”
