BOWERSTON, Ohio — Clay-Battelle limited Conotton Valley (1-8) to 58 yards in a 46-8 rout, on Oct. 20.
The Cee-Bees’ defense also tallied a touchdown as Gunner Brummage returned an interception 4 yards for a score.
“The defense played really well,” C-B coach Ryan Wilson said. “We held them to under 100 yards.”
C-B’s (6-2) offense wasn’t too shabby, either. Travis Dille eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing plateau on the season with 167 yards and two touchdowns.
Logan Forquer gained
78 yards and scored once. Brummage also returned a punt 75 yards for a touchdown and caught a 6-yard scoring pass from Seth Casino.
C-B hosts Notre Dame, on Oct. 27.
