GRANVILLE — Ike Schlabach allowed one run on four hits over five innings, as the West Virginia Black Bears beat Williamsport, 3-1, on Sept. 4, at Monongalia County Ballpark.
The lefty Schlabach (6-4) struck out five and walked one in earning his first victory since Aug. 20.
However, the Black Bears (39-34) were eliminated from playoff contention after doubleheader sweeps by Mahoning Valley and Hudson Valley on Sept. 4.
