R. Donalda Bolyard, 89, of Fellowsville, W.Va., passed away at UHC with family by her side on Monday, July 1, 2024.
She was born Sept. 8, 1934, in Morgantown.
Donalda graduated from Morgantown High School. She enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and going to the beach. Her love was spending time with her family. She was a member of the Fellowsville United Methodist Church.
Donalda is survived by her children, Diamelen Bowman (Michael), Phil Bolyard, Don Bolyard (Sandy); nine grandchildren, Dana North (Ray), Tamara Shetzler, Brandon Bolyard (Tracy), Lauren Reynolds (Tyler), Donald Bolyard Jr. (Amber), Katelyn Allen (Christopher), Mallory Trate (Matt), Michael Bowman Jr.(Katie) and Brad Bowman; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Donalda was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth Paul Bolyard; one son, Ken Bolyard Jr.; one sister, Drusilla Givens.
Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave., Newburg, WV, from 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, until time of service at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Sisler officiating. Interment will follow at K.P. Bolyard Cemetery in Fellowsville, W.Va.
