Best Virginia announces roster for 2024 TBT later this month

MORGANTOWN – Best Virginia has released its roster for the 2024 TBT, which will run from July 19 to Aug. 4. The West Virginia alumni team will open against the Brotherly Love Pro Am Foundation on Saturday, July 20 at 3 p.m. in Pittsburgh. 

There are 10 players on the roster, 8 of whom played for WVU. 

Teyvon Meyers played at WVU from 2016-17. He averaged 4.3 points a game and played a total of 66 games at WVU.  He played professionally in Turkey last year. 

Taz Sherman played at WVU from 2019-21, The averaged 12.1 points a game and played a total of 90 games at WVU. He currently plays professionally in Greece.

Tarik Phillip played at WVU from 2014-17, he averaged 7.8 points a game and played a total of 104 games at WVU. he played one year in the NBA with the Washington Wizards in 2019, he now plays professionally in Britain.

Devin Williams played at WVU from 2014-2016, he averaged 12.3 points a game and played a total of 67 games at WVU. He now plays professionally in Taiwan.

Johnathan Holton played at WVU from 2014-16, he averaged 8.1 points a game and played a total of 64 games at WVU. He now plays professionally in the Dominican Republic.

Wesley Harris played at WVU from 2017-19, he averaged 8.1 points a game and played a total of 64 games at WVU. He now plays professionally in Slovakia. 

Esa Ahmad played at WVU from 2015-19, he averaged 9.3 points a game and played a total of 112 games at WVU. He now plays professionally in Germany. 

Sagaba Konate played at WVU from 2016-19, he averaged 8 points a game and played a total of 81 games at WVU. Konate played one year in the NBA G League for the Raptors 905 and now plays professionally in Hungary.

Marcus Keene played at Youngstown State from 2014-2015, averaging 11.9 points a game and playing a total of 54 games. He also attended Central Michigan in 2016-2017 averaging 30 points a game and played a total of 32 games at Central Michigan.

Xavier Bledson played at Indiana State from 2018-2024. He averaged 7.3 points a game and played a total of 96 games at Indiana State.
